Configurable to suit your inspection business needs:
A common problem with other home inspection software is their application is delivered with specific categories and features with limited ability to add or change the list to choose from. With Tech Home Inspections Reporting System, you are not limited to a set list of categories and features to record your findings during the inspection. You can easily add or modify any category or feature that you need to report on. Also other software applications rely on specific templates but if there is no template to fit your property type then you're out of luck. With our home inspection software, you can create home inspection reports for any property type you can think of. This is accomplished by adding the categories and features that meet the specific property type. Only the categories and features that you enter data into will appear on the inspection report.
Dealing with more than one of the same category/feature:
What happens if you inspect a property and it unexpectedly has more than 1 kitchen, or more than 1 master bathroom. With Tech Home Inspections Reporting System, there are no limits to the number of the same or like category and/or feature to report on. It's as simple as selecting the next available number within the category or the feature.
Unlimited Photos:
There is no limit to the number of photos you can add to each feature reported on. Simply select the next available number and add another photo. Also, you can easily edit the photos if you want to draw arrows, circles, or rectangles and add comments.
Keep track of your appointments, reports, and invoices:
A common problem inspector's encounter is trying to keep track of which inspection report goes with which invoice and which appointment. Tech Home Inspections Reporting System provides the solution by keeping track of your appointments which are displayed in the calendar. With this home inspection software, you can easily display the report and invoice associated with the appointment and vice versa.
You don't need Microsoft Word (However if you have Word, you can export to Word as well as PDF):
Some home inspection software applications require that you purchase Microsoft Word or are tied to a specific version of Microsoft Word. Tech Home Inspections Reporting System does not use Microsoft Word in the process of building the inspection report data. This application uses Crystal Reports. Crystal Reports runtime is part of the install delivered with the download and is very efficient. You can print the inspection report and invoice for your customer at the inspection if you have a printer. You can also export the inspection report and/or invoice to a pdf document or Word document. Then you can either email the PDF or Word documents to your customer, or save the documents to a flash drive that you can simply give to your customer at the inspection.
Backup and Restore Setup Configurations and Backup and Restore Data:
Any configuration changes you apply can be exported to a directory location or external location (flash drive) for backup in case you ever need to restore or if you want to transfer your configurations to another device. You can also backup and restore your data (Appointments, Invoices, and Reports data).
No Ongoing Fees and no additional cost to upgrade ever:
Unlike other home inspection software products, you'll never have any additional costs. When the next latest and greatest version of this product is released, you'll be notified via the version checking part of this software. Simply go to the software updates page and download. With backward compatibility built into this software, you can simply download and install and don't need to worry about overlaying any configuration changes you've applied to your current version. Those custom changes will remain intact.
An affordable solution:
This software is a great value for the price. Download and try for 30 days and see for yourself. Also there's no obligation to buy the software. However, this is a very affordable solution for your home inspection business. During the 30 day trial, you can purchase a registration code that gives you a full version license. The cost is just $279 $139 (Spring Special 50% off regular price) for a single user license. This is the application home screen: You can replace the background image with any photo or image file to suite your liking.
From the main menu, you can create a new inspection report, open appointments calendar, modify settings, view the help topics, and view the database.
Below is the appointments caleandar where you can add/update/delete appointments. Once an appointment is added, you can create the inspection report file and create the invoice. (However, you don't need to create an appointment in order to create the inspection report and invoice).

Left panel allows you to choose what is displayed on the calendar grid based on date time frame, and/or inspection company name, and/or inspector name, and/or customer name, and/or buyer/sales agent name.
You can email the created inspection report file to an inspector in the field if the appointment is taken by the home office. Below is sample view of an open report file in data entry mode.

Left panel allows you to choose what is displayed on the right panel. The general info category is where you enter the customer, inspector, inspection company, property, and agent data (unless already entered from the appointment). You can add a photo of the property and conditions relative to the property.
If you click a category other than General Information, the features to inspect (pre-loaded or your setup) for the category are displayed in the right panel. Here you can pick the status, description, location, comment, additional comments, add photos (unlimited per feature), edit the photo to draw arrows, circles, rectangles, and add photo comments.
Below is an example of the swimming pool category where the vinyl liner is torn.
To add the photo, click Add Photo and browse to the photo file on your directory to select it. To edit the photo, simply click on the photo which then opens the photo in a larger window for you to apply any edits such as drawing arrows, circles, or rectangles to bring attention to your finding.
Click Save to save your edits.
To preview the report entries in the pdf download view, click the preview toolbar icon. You can preview at any point during the inspection to see how the report is shaping up. Below is a screen shot of the Swimming Pool section of the report.
